Working in the Environment & Community Department you will be mentored in environmental management systems, rehabilitation processes and community interactions.

Requirements:
• Completed 2nd or 3rd year of an Environmental Science Degree.
• Good knowledge of Australian flora.
• Experience doing flora surveys and weed mapping.
• Sound computer skills, mapinfo is an advantage.
• Ability to use GPS and maps in the field.
• Manual drivers licence is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe working practices

Geosoc Cruise 2011– From the Sea

Get your night off work and your tickets in hand because….*drumroll please*…..GeoSoc are having a Harbour Cruise!!!!

It’s on October 28th, the friday before stuvac, from 7pm-11pm. Meet us at the King St Wharf near the aquarium.

The theme for this years cruise is “From the Sea”. So find a costume be it sailor, pirate, mermaid, spongebob or anything else sea related!
